It
is with utmost pleasure that I write to you regarding our new
initiative, “Writers Unleashed” – the Online Literary Writing
Competition 2022, organized by the English Literary Association (ELA) of
the Faculty of Medical Sciences at University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
The
competition will be opened for submissions from students at all state
medical and dental schools across Sri Lanka. Online submission
collection will begin on the 1st of July 2022 and continue through till
the deadline on the 31st of July 2022.
The competition will accept submissions in the following Categories:
1. Poetry
2. Short Stories
3. Creative Writing
4. Cartoons – Digital
5. Cartoons – Hand drawn
The
ELA invites all eligible contestants to make the most of this
opportunity on this new platform, to hone their language skills and to
ignite their inner writers, to shine brighter than ever before.
