Dear Students,

Wish you all a happy and prosperous New Year and all the success in the final examination.
The two batch representatives of the 37th batch  informed me on 31st of December 2020, that all the students in your batch are agreeable to leave the hostels after finishing the professorial appointments are completed, and to attend the entire final MBBS examination while staying home or at private boarding houses if the clinical component of the examination is postponed to be held after the theory component.
I informed them to send a letter with the assurance that all of you in the batch would leave the hostels after the professorial clinical appointments are completed in the first week of January if the clinical component is held after the theory papers. All the heads of clinical departments who were there when I met the batch representatives agreed to postpone the clinical examinations in such a condition provided the students are willing to  take responsibility of all the consequences of such a postponement. This means,  if conditions in the hospital lead to a situation in which it is not possible to hold an exam by 16th of March.
However when I requested the said letter your batch representatives sent me letter signed by all of you to state that you are willing to leave the hostels after the theory component of the final MBBS examination. I am not sure whether they are  trying to cheat you or me, I think that they are giving you false information and not reliable as batch representatives.
If you still want to postpone the clinical component of the examination please send me a letter signed by all of you confirming that you are agreeing to leave the hostels after finishing the clinical appointments in the first week of January and as a batch you will take responsibility to face any adverse circumstances which could arise as a result of such a postponement of the clinical component of the final MBBS examination and any delay in completion of the examination as I will have to prioritize the clinical training  of the 38th batch from the first week of April.
In case if I do not get such a request with the two conditions which I have mentioned by Monday the 4th I will confirm the clinical component of the exam to start on 7th of February.

Dean.
