AN URGENT NOTICE TO 40th Batch (26.01.2021)

 

1.       Your 8^th term will be starting on 15.02.2021. However, your clinical will be commenced as scheduled on 22.02.2021.

2.       Since you don’t have clinical in the week starting from 15.02.2021 (15^th to 19^th February), morning 8 a.m. to 12.00 noon will be utilized for para-clinical teaching.

3.       15^th morning 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. – Microbiology (online teaching); 16^th morning 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon – Parasitology practical (Lab); 17^th morning 8.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. – Microbiology (online teaching); 18^th morning 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon – Parasitology practical (Lab); the rest of the morning hours will be utilized by the Department of Community Medicine for their research programme introduction.

4.       15^th to 19^th February afternoon (1.00 p.m. to 5 p.m.) your regular time table of 8^th term will be operated (Lectures will be conducted in LT A/B).

5.       22^nd February, you will have your regular clinical appointments in the morning and 8^th term teaching according to your time table in the afternoon.

6.       The week starting from 1^st March is declared as the Assessment Week.

1^st March 2021 (Monday) 1.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. – Microbiology MCQ and discussion (LTA/B); 4.00 p.m. – 4.30 p.m. Parasitology MCQ (LTA/B).

2^nd March 2021 (Tuesday) 1.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. – Parasitology practical exam (Lab).

3^rd March 2021 (Wednesday) – University Academic Sessions

4^th March 2021 (Thursday) 1.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. – Parasitology practical exam (Lab).

5^th March 2021 (Friday) 1.00 p.m. to 2.00 p.m. – Community Medicine Continous Assessment (LTA/B); 3.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. – Microbiology lecture (LTA/B)

7.       The week from 8^th to 12^th March afternoon teaching will be done as per the 8^th term time table using an online platform (LT A/B is not available due to Final MBBS Exam).

8.       From 15^th March to 2^nd April 2021 onsite teaching will be arranged in the afternoon according to your 8^th term time table at LTA/B and respective laboratories.

9.       8^th term ends on 2^nd April 2021.

10.   You will have two (02) weeks study leave before 3^rd MBBS Exam which will be commencing on 19^th April 2021 (Monday).

Please restrict your movements from 1^st  February 2021 to 14^th  February 2021 before recommencing your academic activities here in the Faculty.
